That's what R E Welch Gallery has done from the moment it opened its doors in the renowned shopping district of El Paseo in Palm Desert. There was no mistake their presence was felt from the very beginning with their carefully selected artists from around the world, along with their immediate involvement in charities throughout the valley. Without reinventing anything, they simply tapped into how one now lives their life, with exquisite art. A simple strategy that puts them in a class of galleries that only a few share!
They have continued their success with the 2007 opening of their second gallery in Seattle, WA. This is a true testament of how the same art, in a different environment, will always play the same role, by feeding your senses while completing your home.
A new location is on the horizon for R E Welch Gallery on El Paseo when they will be relocating to the new section of the Colonnade beneath the well known La Peon restaurant.
Business partner, Richard Smith, is quick to let our clients know R E Welch Gallery refuses to sell items such as giclées, prints, furniture, fountains and tchotchkis.

Knott's Soak City
is the largest and coolest water adventure park in the desert, featuring 16 waterlogged acres packed with 18 of the most intense water rides imaginable.
You can begin your day on Pacific Spin. This exciting multi-person raft ride includes a 132- foot long tunnel that drops riders 75 feet into a six-story funnel. After pitching riders back and forth through 5,500 gallons of swirling water, the ride culminates in a waterfall splash.
More high-speed thrills await at Tidal Wave Tower. The ultimate in gravitydefying thrills, Tidal Wave Tower defies you to take on the action of a 7- story speed slide. Desert's "Gadget Gal"
OPENS NEW STORE
Charismatic Jan Boydstun, owner of Kitchen Kitchen, has relocated her new store just 7 DOORS DOWN from the other in the Ralph's Village, Indian Wells. In addition, she has added a brand new beautiful kitchen for cooking classes, demos and events. Jan's parents, Phil and Char Carter started the business in 1979 while Jan was away at Long Beach State.
After finishing college, Jan had a fascinating life - a job with Amtrak, American Airlines and as a photographer in Australia, all paving the way for her path to the desert, to help her parents relocate their Rancho Mirage store in Indian Wells. "They asked me to come for four months...20 years ago!" She found herself loving the business and stayed. She met her husband, Gary, about the same time, had three sons, and the rest is history! Since then, Jan's parents have passed on and she has evolved into the "media darling", known as "The Gadget Gal". She enthusiastically sells gadgets that make life easier in the kitchen. You can catch her half hour infomercial on Channel 13 and 14 or book her to do a seminar at your next event. You can also tune into her radio show called "Jan's Kitchen" every Saturday from noon-1pm on KNEWS Radio, 94.3 FM or 970 AM.
